Breaking Ground

Welcome to Breaking Ground, the Council’s quarterly magazine sharing stories, resources, and disability policy updates that matter to Tennesseans with intellectual and developmental disabilities and their families. One special edition each year features artwork from Tennesseans with disabilities.

Published by the Council since 1990, Breaking Ground distributes 6,000 free copies each issue to people with disabilities, their families, state agencies, advocacy organizations, and legislators.
