Lynette Porter

Deputy Director, TN Council on Developmental Disabilities

Lynette Porter has worked at the Council since 2000, managing operations and supporting big shifts in disability services. She has led the Council with projects related to inclusive education, healthcare, and childcare resources centers. As a parent of a daughter with a disability, she brings both personal insight and belief in the DD Act principles.

Director of Program Operations, TN Council on Developmental Disabilities

Alicia also joined the Council in 2000. She focuses on federal and state reporting, contracts, program evaluation, and data collection. She helped launch Tennessee’s shift to community-based employment and continues to focus on data, systems change, and protecting progress. Her work is driven by a belief that true inclusion means belonging.

Dr. Bruce Keisling

Executive Director, UT Center for Developmental Disabilities

Dr. Bruce Keisling is a clinical psychologist with 30 years of experience in the field of developmental disabilities. He works to improve the lives of people with disabilities and helps connect research with real-life impact across the state. He has also served as board president of the national Association of University Centers on Disabilities and held leadership roles with the Council and Disability Rights Tennessee.

Kevin Wright

Assistant Commissioner for Vocational Rehabilitation, TN Department of Human Services

Kevin Wright leads Tennessee’s Division of Rehabilitation Services, where he works to make sure people with disabilities can find meaningful jobs and live more independently. With more than 30 years in the field, Kevin has helped improve programs across the state, including expanding access to technology and services that help people help themselves. He brings lived experience as a person with a disability.
