April is Stress Awareness Month. Stress is something we all experience, but managing it is key to maintaining a healthy mind and body.
Use this calendar as a guide to practice daily self-care.

April 1: Stare at your to-do list until you reach inner peace. Just kidding! Happy National Humor Month!
April 2: Share your favorite way to de-stress. You could receive a prize! Email a photo to show how you manage stress to inspire others on the Working for a Healthier Tennessee Facebook page.
April 3: Enjoy a slice of homemade yogurt cake on this state holiday.
April 6: Take a wellness break to Stretch & Destress from 12 to 12:15 p.m. CT. Can't join live? Download the Stretch & Destress invite to access video links in the Microsoft Teams chat.
April 7: Check your inbox for this month's Be Well @Work newsletter. You could receive a prize if you answer the monthly trivia question.
April 8: Register for the Simplifying Your Money When Life Gets Busy webinar, presented by BrightPlan from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. CT. Can't attend live? Register to receive the recording.
April 9: Join the Nature Journaling workshop from 11:30 a.m. to 12 p.m. CT. View pictures of nature and record your thoughts. Share with the group to deepen the connection or listen and be inspired.
April 10: Start a container garden in observance of National Garden Month. Email WFHT.TN@tn.gov recent or past garden photos for us to spotlight on the Working for a Healthier Tennessee Facebook page.
April 13: My water bottle and I are in a committed relationship. It follows me everywhere. Celebrate National Humor Month one silly sip at a time!
