Relaxation Tips
Monday, Aug. 11

Let’s celebrate National Wellness Month by practicing self-care. You’ll learn different relaxation techniques, and we'll practice progressive muscle relaxation. Progressive muscle relaxation involves gently tensing and relaxing your muscles, one by one. No special equipment or attire is needed. Please sign this annual liability waiver prior to participating.

Note: If you attend Stretch & Destress on Mondays, this will be a special extended version!

You can try our free virtual workouts without any commitment. Just pop in, see if it interests you and stay if you want to give it a try! Unless otherwise noted, you don't need a webcam or anything special, and you can adjust the workout to your fitness level.

Critical Incident Stress in the Workplace for Managers

Workplace trauma or critical incidents can impact any of us, regardless of our position, level of experience or degree of involvement. Shock, confusion and exhaustion are a few of the reactions we encounter following these events. When a critical or traumatic incident occurs, employees will turn to their managers for direction and guidance. This session focuses on increasing our understanding of the nature of workplace critical incidents and the role that managers play in responding effectively.
