Paige Turner

Director of Population Health

As the director of population health for Tennessee's State Group Health Plan, Paige oversees the statewide population health and Emotional Wellbeing Solutions programs, which include a primary population health program, weight management program, diabetes prevention program, Working for a Healthier Tennessee, as well as the Emotional Wellbeing Solutions and Work-Life programs. She's responsible for setting the strategic direction of these programs aimed at arresting the poor health behaviors driving the health care spending and chronic disease burden of the health plan.

Kayla Livesay

Assistant Director of Population Health

Kayla oversees the Working for a Healthier Tennessee wellness initiative for Tennessee State Government employees and assists with the Partners for Health wellness program. She has more than 20 years of experience working in the health and wellness field. Fourteen of those years have been dedicated to workplace wellness programming. Kayla has a bachelor of science in exercise science/pre-physical therapy and a master of science in athletic training. In her spare time, she enjoys staying active outdoors, traveling and spending quality time with friends and family.

Wellness Coordinator

Kristina has a bachelor's degree in social work from the University of New Hampshire and her Master of Art in Education from Tennessee State University. She joined the Working for a Healthier Tennessee team after working at the Tennessee Department of Health, where she volunteered as the wellness council co-chair. Kristina has experience as a public health educator, grant manager on projects related to preventing chronic diseases and social work with seniors, families and youth. She is certified as a yoga instructor, laughter yoga leader, life coach and Tennessee Naturalist. She believes in finding the balance of programs that touch individual lives with policy that impacts a population. Kristina tries to "walk the talk" by incorporating physical activity and healthy eating into her daily life and making time for wellness breaks in her schedule. She enjoys yoga, walking, biking, kayaking (on gentle waters), spending time with her husband and two cats and getting out in nature. Originally from New Hampshire, Kristina moved to Nashville in 1997 after spending a few years in Seattle.

Wellness Coordinator

Emilee holds a bachelor's degree in exercise science from Belmont University and a master's degree in exercise and nutrition science from Lipscomb University. She joined the Working for a Healthier Tennessee team after serving as the wellness director at the Green Hills Family YMCA. With additional experience in cardiac rehabilitation and dietetics, Emilee is passionate about helping others achieve their health goals. Outside of work, she enjoys staying active through hiking and nature walks, as well as crocheting and spending time with her fur babies.

Communications Coordinator

Natalie has more than 20 years of experience working in communications. She attended Marymount Manhattan College in New York City before transferring to the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga, where she earned a bachelor's degree in communication. Before joining Tennessee State Government, Natalie worked at WRCB-TV (NBC) in Chattanooga, NewsChannel 5 (CBS) in Nashville and Shop at Home TV. She then transitioned to a career as a public relations and social media specialist, working at Thrive PR and United Methodist Communications. Natalie enjoys writing, reading, spending time with her husband and watching Dateline NBC.
