Well Workplace Awards

July 1, 2025 - June 30, 2026

All nominations will be reviewed by the Working for a Healthier Tennessee team and evaluated based on nominations submitted by wellness councils and workplace wellness activities completed during the fiscal year.

Breakthrough Wellness Council:

This wellness council has shown improvement in their efforts over the last fiscal year to organize and promote wellness activities that meet the needs of their employees. These efforts may include strengthening their agency’s wellness council, improving wellness council communications and trying different strategies to engage and inspire their workforce.

Communicator of the Year:

This award is presented to a wellness council that excels at reaching all their employees and keeping them informed about workplace wellness events, activities and resources.

Engagement Award:

This award recognizes a wellness council that “moves the masses” by providing employees with activities they want to join so they keep coming back for more.

Thinking Outside the Desktop Award:

This wellness council is intentional about including and engaging employees you won’t often find working a traditional desk job.

Working for a Healthier Tennessee All-Star:

This is a wellness council member who always has a positive attitude and encourages their co-workers to engage in health and wellness activities to live healthier lives.
