First reading of item that proposes revisions to establish alternate passing options aligned with vendor-developed opportunities. These options provide additional, rigorous pathways for candidates to demonstrate content knowledge when minimum qualifying scores are not met, where available and applicable.

A. School and Student Health Services Rules 0520-01-13
Final reading of item to revise the School and Student Health Services Rules to align with Chapter 346 of the Public Acts of 2025 (PC 346) which encourages each school in an LEA and public charter school to keep a bronchodilator rescue inhaler in the school so that a bronchodilator rescue inhaler may be administered to a student believed to be having asthma symptoms or in respiratory distress in an emergency situation. Minor revisions have been made to ensure alignment with PC 346 since first reading.

Final reading of item to update course names and offerings based on school, local education agency (LEA), and Tennessee Department of Education (TDOE) questions and feedback. Other edits to support public transparency and clarity across related policies. There have been minor changes to this item since first reading.
