Overview: The Fire Inspector II course is an advanced training program designed for experienced fire inspectors who wish to deepen their expertise and take on more complex inspection responsibilities. This course builds on the foundational knowledge gained in Fire Inspector I and focuses on the evaluation of fire protection systems, advanced inspection techniques, and the application of fire prevention strategies in a variety of high-risk environments. Students will learn to conduct in-depth inspections of fire suppression and alarm systems, assess hazardous materials handling and storage, and evaluate building systems for fire and life safety compliance. Students will gain knowledge in specialized areas such as industrial and commercial inspections, fire prevention planning, and enforcement of local and national fire codes. This course is based on NFPA 1031: Standard for Professional Qualifications for Fire Inspector and Plan Examiner.
