Agriculture Direct Marketing Summit – Free Webinars
The Agriculture Direct Marketing Summit will be taking place February 16, 17, and 18 at 7PM EST/ 6PM CST. This 3-evening event is for ANY agriculture producer selling directly to consumers. Sessions will cover social media strategies, maximizing your marketing resources, creating value added products, and customer retention. The last evening is a producer panel featuring several farms discussing their personal marketing experiences and strategies.
The Mini-Summit is a free virtual multi-state event hosted by the Kentucky Center for Ag and Rural Development (KCARD), Kentucky Department of Agriculture (KDA), Kentucky Farm Bureau, University of Kentucky Center for Crop Diversification, the Kentucky Horticulture Council, University of Kentucky Department of Ag Economics, and University of Tennessee Center for Profitable Agriculture.

Farmland Leasing Webinar Series
Farmland owners and anyone with an agricultural lease are invited to participate in a free “lunch and learn” mini webinar series starting in March. This series of short courses will teach you the basics of farmland leases and will provide you with useful tools and resources to construct farmland leases. Each session lasts about 30 minutes beginning at noon Central/1pm Eastern and includes:
March 18, 2021 – Types and Terms of Farmland Leasing
March 25, 2021 – How to figure out a fair rental rate?
April 1, 2021 – Legal Considerations
