Commissioner Announces First Ever Region-Wide Wellness Challenge
DCS Commissioner Jennifer Nichols is announcing the first ever region-wide wellness challenge! The competition is called the "September Step Up to Health Challenge." The four-week challenge will aim to help participants accrue daily points by practicing a variety of different healthy habits, including: sleeping 7+ hours per night, packing a healthy lunch, drinking 6+ cups of water per day, taking a rest or wellness break and engaging in 15 minutes of physical activity or stretching.
