Kelly G Rollins

Kelly G Rollins is a proud first generation graduate of Middle Tennessee State University earning a Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing and Management. In 2020, he retired as a 37-year veteran in management from United Parcel Service. Kelly, while a first-year student at MTSU, began his UPS career as a part-time employee unloading trailers. While working his way through college and up through the ranks at UPS, Kelly served in a multitude of management roles including package operations, marketing, business development, supply chain solutions and sales. Throughout his career, he gained vast business experience and knowledge working with small to midsize businesses along with Fortune 500 companies.
UPS, a company promoting volunteerism and social impact, encouraged members of its management team to be involved in their communities. Kelly has served several nonprofits in the Middle Tennessee area with the majority of his involvement being with the Boys & Girls Clubs. After serving as a coach and mentor to kids in the club’s basketball league, he joined Rutherford County’s local Board of Directors in 2006. Serving in multiple board leadership roles, Kelly served as the organization’s President from 2009 to 2010 and again in 2012 to 2013. Presently he is serving his fifth two-year term as the Chair and President of the Boys & Girls Clubs in Tennessee (State Alliance). Kelly has received multiple national awards for his service to youth but none more notable than being inducted into the Boys & Girls Clubs in Tennessee distinguished Hall of Fame in 2014. Kelly, along with other local Murfreesboro business leaders, founded Community Foundation of Rutherford County in 2017. He now serves as Chair and President of the Foundation. Kelly remains actively engaged with MTSU Blue Raider athletics and is a current member of the Blue Raider Athletic Association Board of Directors. A graduate of Leadership Rutherford’s Class of 2024, he also serves on the Leadership Rutherford Council. In June 2025, the Mayor of Murfreesboro appointed Kelly to a three-year term on the City Planning Commission.
Kelly has been married for 40-years to the former Cindy L Sullivan. Cindy and Kelly, originally from Shelbyville have two children, Kelli Lee Dillard (Devin), and G Broc Rollins (Tori). Cindy and Kelly have three grandchildren, Nolen Gray Dillard, Daxten Crews Dillard and Ruby Carson Rollins. Since getting married in 1986, they have called Murfreesboro home.
