Blueberry Banana Smoothie
Prep Time: 5 minutes
Servings: 2 large or 3 small smoothies
Ingredients:
- 2 cups grapes (red or green)
- OPTIONAL: ½ cup yogurt (plain yogurt, can omit or substitute non-dairy yogurt, or 1/4 avocado to increase calories)
- ⅓ cup carrots, roughly chopped
- 1 cup kale, chopped
- 1 banana (ripe)
- 1 cup blueberries (fresh or frozen)
- OPTIONAL: 1 tablespoon flax meal
- 1 cup ice (need only ½ cup if fruit is frozen)
Directions:
- Place grapes and yogurt (optional) at the bottom of your blender and add other ingredients on top.
- Blend well until fruit and veggies are smooth.
- Yields 3 ½ cups of smoothie (enough for 3 mini smoothies or 2 larger smoothies).
Notes:
To give it some extra calories, throw in a slice or two of avocado.
