To become a TennCare dental provider you must first obtain a Medicaid ID.

TennCare Dental Program Providers:

- Last day to submit claims to DentaQuest for services occurring on or before 10/31/2025. If providers have questions/concerns for DentaQuest: Dental providers can contact DentaQuest through the DentaQuest Provider Portal.
TennCare dental services are offered through RENIASSANCE. For member specific information visit the Dental Services page on the TennCare website.
Dental providers can contact Renaissance at 866-864-2526 (Monday – Friday, 7:00 am CT to 5:00 pm CT) or through the Renaissance provider portal Dental Office Toolkit (DOT). The DOT contains information on utilization management, claim submission, covered services, pre-authorizations, appeals, clinical criteria and more.
The TennCare Dental Advisory Committee (TDAC) provides policy recommendations and supports the ongoing development and enhancement of the TennCare dental program.

Non-Emergency Medical Transportation (NEMT)
Transportation services are available to members in programs Childrens, Adult, and waiver programs (ECF Choices and 1915c) who do not have access to transportation. Rides can be scheduled for any TennCare covered service and must be scheduled at least two business days in advance of the appointment time. If the member does not provide adequate notice, the NEMT Call Center will verify with the medical/dental provider whether the appointment is considered urgent. If urgency is confirmed, the ride will be scheduled with the appropriate method of transportation. Please visit TennCare’s transportation site for more information.
