Major Andrew Goolsby
Major Andrew Goolsby began his career with the Tennessee Highway Patrol in 2004 as a road trooper in Cumberland County. He was promoted to Sergeant and assigned to the TITAN Unit before returning to the road as a
Sergeant serving Clay and Jackson Counties.
He was later promoted to Lieutenant in the TITAN Unit, where he successfully built and maintained positive relationships with the Tennessee Highway Patrol’s many stakeholders. In 2022, Goolsby was promoted to Captain and appointed to serve as Executive Officer to Commissioner Long. In 2026, he was promoted to Major and continued serving in the same role.
Major Goolsby is a graduate of the Northwestern School of Police Staff and Command and holds an associate degree from Volunteer State Community College.
