Captain Robert Terrell Johnson

Captain Robert T. Johnson  started his career with the Tennessee Highway Patrol in 1998. He served as a road trooper in Fayette County in the Memphis District until 2004. In 2004, he transferred to Davidson County in the Nashville District as a road trooper. He was promoted to Sergeant in the Internal Investigations Unit in 2007 where he served until 2014. In 2014, he was promoted to Lieutenant in Troop F of the Nashville District until his 2016 promotion to Captain of Special Operations Division. He had the opportunity to serve and represent the department as a Strike Team Commander, motor officer, and a member of the Honor Guard. In 2007, he completed the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation Basic Criminal Investigation School, and is a graduate of the 2009 Northwestern School of Police Staff and Command. He graduated from the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) National Academy in 2017.
