Poultry

The Tennessee Department of Agriculture (TDA) works with the Poultry Industry to expand and grow its profitability. Broiler production is the #3 agricultural sector in Tennessee for cash receipts generated. Currently the number of poultry operations is increasing in the state with over $461 million in receipts from broilers and just under $44 million in egg receipts. Every major pedigree/breeder company in the nation has facilities in Tennessee. TDA strives to enhance the image and visibility of this important industry.
