Pork

Tennessee’s hog industry is ever evolving. Currently hogs are the tenth largest agricultural commodity in the state with receipts valued at over $55.2 million. Production opportunities range from small family operations producing Farm Fresh Pork and Sausage for their local communities to large operations growing out several thousand head. Large or small, the Business Development Division is striving to strengthen this important industry.
