Licensing
The Tennessee Alcoholic Beverage Commission (TABC) issues many different alcoholic beverages related licenses to qualified applicants depending on the nature of the business or organization. TABC jurisdiction covers alcoholic beverages with eight percent (8%) or greater alcohol by weight or ten and one-tenth percent (10.1%) alcohol by volume. The TABC does not issue beer permits except for the brewing of high gravity beer.
