Lifepoint Hospitals

Lifepoint Hospitals will be rejoining the Cigna LocalPlus and Open Access Plus networks effective Feb. 15, 2026. Cigna and Lifepoint Hospitals were able to come to a new three-year contract agreement bringing them back in the Cigna LP and OAP networks. Letters from Cigna are scheduled to be mailed to impacted members in the next week.

- Southern Tennessee Regional Health System – Pulaski
- Southern Tennessee Regional Health System – Winchester/Sewanee

East Tennessee Children’s Hospital and Partners in Pediatrics

East Tennessee Children’s Hospital, their associated physicians, and Partners in Pediatrics will potentially be leaving the Cigna LocalPlus and Open Access Plus networks effective Mar. 1, 2026. Cigna is working in good faith with ETCH and Partners in Pediatrics to come to a new contract agreement to keep them in the Cigna LP and OAP networks. Letters from Cigna will be mailed to impacted members by Feb. 1, 2026. We will provide more information as the negotiations develop.
CHI Memorial Hospitals

CHI Memorial Hospitals and some associated physicians, listed below, will potentially be leaving the Cigna LocalPlus and Open Access Plus networks effective Feb. 1, 2026. Cigna is working in good faith with CHI Memorial to come to a new contract agreement to keep them in the Cigna LP and OAP networks. Letters from Cigna were mailed to impacted members on Jan. 2, 2026. We will provide more information as the negotiations develop.

Cigna has reached an agreement with Saint Francis Health System to remain in the Cigna Open Access Plus network effective Jan. 1, 2026. This means there will not be a gap in network participation status.

Cigna has secured a contract extension with Sumner Regional Medical Center and some associated physician practices for the Cigna LocalPlus and Open Access Plus networks through Jan. 1, 2026. Cigna is working in good faith with Sumner Regional Medical Center to come to a new contract agreement to keep them in the Cigna LP and OAP networks. Saint Francis Health System

Saint Francis Health System (Memphis and Bartlett) will potentially be leaving the Cigna Open Access Plus network effective Dec. 31, 2025. Cigna is working in good faith with Tenet Healthcare, owner of Saint Francis Health System, to come to a new contract agreement to keep them in the Cigna OAP network. Letters from Cigna are scheduled to be mailed to impacted members on Nov. 15, 2025. We will provide more information as the negotiations develop.
