KAHDL Staff Spotlight   |   Naomi Kelly, Microbiologist

Millie Brookins, DVM

The Kord Animal Health Diagnostic Laboratory (KAHDL) would like to spotlight microbiologist Naomi Kelly, the Molecular Diagnostics Section Supervisor. Naomi graduated from Eastern Kentucky University with a degree in Forensic Science in 2009. After graduation, Naomi soon began her work in molecular diagnostics for the University of Kentucky Veterinary Diagnostic Laboratory. After relocating to Tennessee, she started her career with KAHDL in 2015 and has made great strides in the number of PCR tests now offered at the lab. In her spare time, she greatly enjoys reading and putting together jigsaw puzzles.
