· Hunter Education is required for those born on or after January 1, 1969
· WMA Small Game Permit is required on all WMA fields except at Walnut Log, and Chambers Creek
· Unless otherwise listed, dove hunting is open with statewide seasons and bag limits
Capacity may be limited on some fields depending on hunter turnout.
Region 1 Wildlife Management Areas
Crops planted: 77 acres total: Sunflowers bush hogged
Hunt dates: Youth Hunt September 1, 2024. Starts at Noon; lunch will be provided by the local NWTF Chapter. All Youth Hunters must register at the tent then report to the shed for lunch.
Regular dove season opens September 2, 2024 through the remainder of the 1st and 2nd segments of the statewide season.
Directions: Travel north on Highway 78 towards Tiptonville for 7.0 miles. In Bogota, turn left onto Hwy 103 heading west for 1.2 miles. Turn left onto Barbwire Rd and proceed for 2.0 miles. Field is located on the right.

Directions: From Decaturville head east on Highway 100 toward Perryville. Turn right on Mt. Carmel road. Follow Mt. Carmel road until you cross White's Creek then take the first left. Follow the signs to Cypress Pond Refuge.

Bomprezzi Unit

Hunt dates: Sept 1 (noon) Access is only allowed off Billion Road. The Field is located about 2.0 miles from parking lot. ATV's are allowed and recommended for the first 2 days of the season. Walk in only after Sept. 2

Directions: Take HWY 51 North out of Covington. Take a left on HWY 87. Turn right on Sunk Lake Road. Turn left on Jim Fullen Road. Field will be about 2 miles on your right.

Directions: Take HWY 51 North out of Covington. Take a left on HWY 87. Turn right on Crutcher Lake Road. Continue past Cold Creek and 4 mile loop. Field will be on left before sharp curve.

Directions: From Dyersburg travel west on 155. Take Exit 2 and turn left onto Highway 181 heading south for 12.0 miles. Turn left onto Moss Island Road and proceed 1.2 miles. The field is on the right.

Directions: From Sharon, travel west on TN 89 for 6.5 miles. Turn left onto Beech Ridge Rd. Road dead ends-at WMA. Dove field will be on the left immediately after crossing the first ditch.

Directions: From Hwy 69 in Morris Chapel turn east on Chalk Rd. From Chalk Rd turn onto McCullough Rd. Follow McCullough Rd to the WMA then follow the Dove Field signs to the field.
