· Remember shotgun plugs and Migratory Bird Permit
· Hunter Education is required for those born on or after January 1, 1969
· WMA Small Game Permit is required on all WMA fields except at Walnut Log, and Chambers Creek
· Unless otherwise listed, dove hunting is open with statewide seasons and bag limits
Capacity may be limited on some fields depending on hunter turnout.
Region 1 Wildlife Management Areas
Crops planted: 77 acres total: 77 acres sunflowers bush hogged
Hunt dates: Youth Hunt September 1, 2025. Starts at Noon lunch will be provided by the local NWTF Chapter. All Youth Hunters must register at the orange tent.
Regular dove season opens September 2, 2025 through the remainder of the 1st and 2nd segments of the statewide season.
Directions: Travel north on Highway 78 towards Tiptonville for 7.0 miles. In Bogota, turn left onto Hwy 103 heading west for 1.2 miles. Turn left onto Barbwire Rd and proceed for 2.0 miles. Field is located on the right.

Crops planted: 8 acres total: 8 acres buckwheat
Hunt dates: YOUTH ONLY ON SEPTEMBER 1. Open with statewide season for properly licensed hunters beginning September 2. Each youth must be accompanied by a non-hunting adult. Hunting allowed in designated fields only.
Directions: From Big Sandy: Head west on HWY 69 towards Paris. Turn right onto Hagler Ridge Rd. Continue 1.3 miles and turn right onto a gravel road. Parking area is before the field on the right.

Directions: From Camden: Take HWY 70 east toward New Johnsonville. Before the TN River/KY Lake Bridge, turn right onto Camden Landing/Crockett Landing Road. Field is roughtly 0.75 miles down Camden Landing/Crockett Landing Road.

Bomprezzi Unit

Hunt dates: Sept 1 (noon), open with statewide seasons. ATV or UTV's will be allowed for only the first two days of the season. Field is approximately 2.0 miles from parking lot.
Directions: Located off Billion Road.

Directions: From Camden: Head east on East Street Lake. In 5.7 miles, turn left onto Eva Flatwoods Rd. Continue 2.7 miles and turn right onto Hamon Creek Rd. Go 4.3 miles and turn right onto Harmon Dock Rd. Field is on the right 0.9 miles down Harmon Dock Rd.

Directions: From Lexington: Head east on HWY 412 towards Parsons. In 5.9 miles, turn left onto McCall Rd. Continue 3.7 miles and turn right through a gravel road through a pipe gate. There are multiple wheat fields down the gravel road totalling about 17 acres.

Directions: From the intersection of TN 89 and US45E, travel west on TN 89 for 5.6 miles. Turn south onto Beech Ridge Rd. Travel 1.2 miles. The dove field will be on the left at the WMA sign.
