Directions and Description
Directions: If you are coming from Counce's head west on Highway 57, turn left on Robinson Road, and at the stop sign turn left on Campbell-Old Mill Road. The area may be accessed from Hwy 57, Robinson Rd, or Campbell-Old Mill Road by utilizing parking areas or just pulling off the roadway. Lat/Long: 35.02520 N and -88.31035 W
The PHA is open year-round, please note hunting seasons. General access to the PHA is free, however some hunting/fishing license fees may apply.

Description: The Hardin County Chambers Creek PHA is approximately acres and consists of bottomland hardwoods, permanently flooded wetlands, and former ag fields re-forested to bottomland hardwoods. A 200-yard rifle range is cooperatively managed with the Tri-state Gun Club and is open to the general public for the month of October. You can find lots of wetland wildlife to watch.

Big Game, Small Game, and Trapping are the same as statewide seasons, except as noted below.
Closed to Fall Turkey hunting.
Turkey - One (1) non-quota hunt: April 12 – May 4, 2025. One male bearded turkey counts toward the statewide bag limit.
Turkey (Young Sportsman) - Same as statewide season.
Firing Range - The Chamber Creek Firing Range is located on Campbell-Old Mill Road and is open for sighting-in during the month of October, daylight hours only.
