Tennessee Statewide ITS Architecture Development

The Tennessee Statewide Intelligent Transportation System (ITS) Architecture was developed under the leadership of the Tennessee Department of Transportation (TDOT).

Representatives from all four TDOT Regions contributed to the process. Statewide staff from planning, design, incident management, wireless communications, and public transportation also participated.

Partner Agencies

Several partner agencies were active in the development:

• Tennessee Highway Patrol (THP)
• Tennessee Emergency Management Agency (TEMA)
• Federal Highway Administration (FHWA), Tennessee Division
