Step 1: Identify Needs and Inventory ITS Elements

Document stakeholder needs and identify existing and planned ITS elements for the region’s transportation system.

Step 2: Develop ITS Market Packages and Services

Define the ITS services that address one or more regional transportation needs and priorities.

Describe how each service will operate and how agencies will share related data with one another.

Step 3: Identify the Sequence of ITS Projects

Create a regional ITS deployment plan that guides project implementation across the region over time.

Include the projects stakeholders recommend for implementing selected services and show how they will be deployed over time.
