Kingsport Regional ITS Architecture and Deployment Plan

This plan provides a long‑range framework for the deployment, integration, and operation of in the Kingsport Region. The update was led by the in coordination with the Kingsport . The update was completed in Spring 2017.

Regional Boundaries

The plan covers these areas:

• Western Sullivan County, Tennessee
• Northeastern Hawkins County, Tennessee
• Extreme northern Washington County, Tennessee
• South‑central Scott County, Virginia

Stakeholder Participation

Stakeholders included representatives from traffic operations, public transit, emergency management, and public safety at the local, state, and federal levels.

• Two stakeholder workshops were held to gather input.
• Several interviews with stakeholder agencies were conducted.
