Nashville ITS Architecture
Overview
The Nashville Area Regional Intelligent Transportation System (ITS) Architecture is a framework created by the Nashville Area Metropolitan Planning Organization
(MPO) and the Tennessee Department of Transportation (TDOT).
The goal of this framework is to support coordinated planning and development of transportation technology across the region.
Region Covered
The ITS Architecture applies to the area within the Nashville MPO boundaries. The region includes:
• Davidson County
• Rutherford County
• Sumner County
• Williamson County
• Wilson County
• Robertson County
• Portions of Maury County
