2026 State of Tennessee Other Post-Employment Benefits (OPEB) Board of Trustees Meetings: Public Notice

The meetings of the State of Tennessee OPEB Trust Board must comply with all applicable provisions of the Tennessee Open Meeting Act. State of Tennessee OPEB Trust Board meetings are held at the times and locations noted in each meeting notice below. In addition to live participation, the State of Tennessee OPEB Trust Board members will be allowed to participate by electronic means of communication as defined in T.C.A. § 8-44-108.  All State of Tennessee OPEB Trust Board members participating by electronic means of communication shall identify all persons in the room from which they are participating.

Any member of the public wishing to join the meeting may do so by attending in person, by telephone, or by joining real time electronically via Webex or telephone according to the instructions included in each meeting notice below. No member of the public may be required to register their name with the governing body as a condition for attending in person or receiving the information to attend electronically.

Any member of the public who wants to provide comment about a topic germane to the State of Tennessee OPEB Trust Board agenda action item will be permitted to do so by appearing at the meeting in person, via telephone, or electronic means of communication and requesting to speak on the relevant agenda item. All members of the public who provide comment must identify themselves by name and, if attending by electronic means of communication, may also make germane comments in a written format through use of an internet-based platform during the period provided for public comment.

Any member of the public may voluntarily contact Benefits Administration prior to the meeting to inquire about making an oral or written public comment on an agenda action item or to ask questions about an upcoming agenda item by contacting Matt Tarpley at Matthew.J.Tarpley@tn.gov or 615-604-1925.
