The proposed amendments to the MIRR rules are available for review. This hearing will be open to anyone who wishes to comment in person, otherwise comments can be emailed until close of business on October 2, 2023.
The Tennessee Bureau of Workers’ Compensation is offering a free training for Case Managers on Thursday, September 28, 2023. This training explains how case managers can help injured workers best utilize the resources, funds, and expertise of the Next Step Program.

The Bureau announced Katherine "Kitty" Boyte as the 5th recipient of the Sue Ann Head Award for Excellence in Workers' Compensation. The award was presented to Ms. Boyte during a lunch ceremony during the Tennessee Workers' Compensation Educational Conference on June 15, 2023 in Murfreesboro.

All three finalists will be acknowledged, and one will ultimately be selected as this year’s award recipient, at the Tennessee Workers' Compensation Educational Conference next month in Murfreesboro.
