Two open houses are scheduled to answer questions about the new rate tables for Tennessee's medical fee schedule.

The Tennessee Bureau of Workers’ Compensation is offering a free training for Case Managers on Thursday, April 11, 2024. This training teaches case managers how they can help injured workers best utilize the resources, funds, and expertise of the Next Step Program.

Registration is now open for the Tennessee Workers' Compensation Educational Conference, taking place June 12-14 at the Embassy Suites by Hilton Nashville SE Murfreesboro.

The committee hears disputes on medical bill payments between providers and insurers and advises the administrator on issues relating to the medical fee schedule and medical care cost containment in the workers’ compensation system.

The Tennessee Department of Commerce and Insurance (TDCI) announced that workers’ compensation insurance premiums will decline for most Tennessee businesses in 2024 for the 11th consecutive year.

Requests to present should be emailed by Monday, April 1st, 2024. All submissions will be reviewed by the conference committee, and the most trending and thought-provoking presentations will be selected.

Updated program rules are now in effect for the Tennessee’s Workers' Compensation Appeals Board and Court of Workers’ Compensation Claims.

Certified Physicians are now eligible to receive the enhanced fees in accordance with the Medical Fee Schedule.

The Tennessee Bureau of Workers' Compensation is proud to announce that employee, Lacy Conner, has been selected to be honored as an ”Outstanding State Employee Veteran” at the 2023 Governor's Veterans Day event at the National Guard Armory "Hall of Flags" in Nashville.

The Bureau’s goal is to create a statewide network of physicians trained in workers' compensation best practices to better help injured workers achieve a faster recovery focused on returning to work.
