Upcoming meetings are now scheduled for December 13, 2022 & March 7, 2023. The Medical Advisory Committee (MAC) assists the administrator in the development of the treatment guidelines and advise the administrator on issues relating to medical care in the workers’ compensation system.
As part of its annual fee schedule review for 2022, the Bureau partnered with FAIR Health to assist the Bureau in the analysis of our fee schedules. FAIR Health will make available to Tennessee stakeholders, on behalf of the Bureau, rate tables that will have a complete listing of all maximum allowable reimbursements according to the rules.

Abbie Hudgens, Administrator of the Tennessee Bureau of Workers' Compensation, retires on August 31, 2022. She was hired by Governor Bill Haslam in 2011 and has spent the past 11 years consistently working to improve the workers’ compensation system in Tennessee for all stakeholders.
Bob Pitts is the recipient of the 2022 Sue Ann Head Award for Excellence in Workers' Compensation. Bob is the Senior Policy Advisor with the Associated Builders and Contractors of Great Tennessee.
