The committee hears disputes on medical bill payments between providers and insurers and advises the administrator on issues relating to the medical fee schedule and medical care cost containment in the workers’ compensation system.
Certified Physicians are now eligible to receive the enhanced fees in accordance with the Medical Fee Schedule.

The proposed amendments to the MIRR rules are available for review. This hearing will be open to anyone who wishes to comment in person, otherwise comments can be emailed until close of business on October 2, 2023.
The Tennessee Bureau of Workers’ Compensation is offering a free training for Case Managers on Thursday, September 28, 2023. This training explains how case managers can help injured workers best utilize the resources, funds, and expertise of the Next Step Program.
