Updated program rules are now in effect for the Tennessee’s Workers' Compensation Appeals Board and Court of Workers’ Compensation Claims.

Public Notice: The Medical Advisory Committee will meet Tuesday, March 12, 2024, 1-3 PM (Central). The meeting is open to the public and will be held in the Workers’ Compensation Large Conference Room at 220 French Landing Drive, 1st Floor, Side B, in Nashville and will be available virtually via MS Teams.

The committee hears disputes on medical bill payments between providers and insurers and advises the administrator on issues relating to the medical fee schedule and medical care cost containment in the workers’ compensation system.

Certified Physicians are now eligible to receive the enhanced fees in accordance with the Medical Fee Schedule.

The Tennessee Bureau of Workers' Compensation is proud to announce that employee, Lacy Conner, has been selected to be honored as an ”Outstanding State Employee Veteran” at the 2023 Governor's Veterans Day event at the National Guard Armory "Hall of Flags" in Nashville.

The Bureau’s goal is to create a statewide network of physicians trained in workers' compensation best practices to better help injured workers achieve a faster recovery focused on returning to work.

The proposed amendments to the MIRR rules are available for review. This hearing will be open to anyone who wishes to comment in person, otherwise comments can be emailed until close of business on October 2, 2023.
