Arguments to be held remotely via Microsoft Teams

Attend the workers' compensation Medical Advisory Council's (MAC) next meeting on Tuesday, September 21, 2021 at 1 PM (Central) via Microsoft Teams.

This report measures the impact of the Workers’ Compensation Reform Act passed in 2013. Data for this report will now be reported in calendar years instead of fiscal years (unless otherwise noted).

A public hearing scheduled for Wed. July 14, 2021 at 10:00 AM (Central). A new law transfers the administration and day-to-day operation of the construction service provider registration (Exemption Registry) from the Secretary of State to the Bureau of Workers' Compensation. The Bureau will assume responsibility for the exemption registry on January 1, 2022. These rules will establish the framework for the operation of the exemption registry by the Bureau.

The Tennessee Bureau of Workers' Compensation publishes the first piece of the REWARD Program tools: The Employer Toolkit.

The Bureau’s Medical Fee Schedule Rules, Rules for Medical Payments, and Electronic Medical Billing Rules are being amended. Also, new Rules for Telehealth for Workers’ Compensation are being proposed after months of meetings with stakeholder groups. Join via Webex at 10 AM (central).
