The Medical Payment Committee (MPC) has posted their subsequent meeting date and Microsoft Teams link to join the meeting online.

The Tennessee Bureau of Workers' Compensation publishes the first piece of the REWARD Program tools: The Employer Toolkit.

The Bureau’s Medical Fee Schedule Rules, Rules for Medical Payments, and Electronic Medical Billing Rules are being amended. Also, new Rules for Telehealth for Workers’ Compensation are being proposed after months of meetings with stakeholder groups. Join via Webex at 10 AM (central).

The workers' comp MAC Committee will meet via Webex on Tuesday, December 1st to discuss the ODG Update, Telemedicine/Telehealth Report, Legislative/Rules Update, UR Working Group Report, and more.

The Medical Payment Committee will meet virtually on Tuesday, November 17th.

WC Bot is an interactive chatbot designed to assist injured workers with the proper completion of the Petition for Benefit Determination and Request for Expedited Hearing (along with its accompanying affidavit). Users can complete the forms by either typing or speaking into their device.

NEW DATE & TIME: The Tennessee Bureau of Workers' Compensation is holding a public rulemaking hearing to listen to any comments related to the proposed amendments to the Claims Handling Standards (0800-02-14) due to EDI Release 3.1. This public hearing will be held on November 10 at 11 AM Central.

This group reviews utilization review activity in Tennessee Workers’ Compensation. The meeting will be telephonic on Friday morning, September 11th.
