The Safety and Work Zones of the TDOT Traffic Design Division assists the State Traffic Engineer in supporting agency staff, local governments, and elected officials regarding operational and/or safety concerns on our state highways and interstate system. This section works closely with Region Traffic Engineers in order to assist in reviewing traffic studies, provide policy guidance and assist in solving issues unique to each region office.
