Probe Data Analytics Tools

Regional Integrated Transportation Information System (RITIS) is a data aggregation platform used primarily for comprehensive situational awareness and network performance analysis. RITIS is used to produce quarterly reports on the top interstate and state route bottlenecks in each region and statewide for use in project prioritization and planning. Congestion reports are also created to compare traffic conditions, often before, during, and after an intervention, to help evaluate the efficacy of a construction project or traffic management strategy.

StreetLight Insight is a probe data platform used to transform billions of passively collected mobility data points into actionable insights and travel patterns. StreetLight is used to analyze key transportation metrics such as volume, speed, origin-destination (O-D) data, and turning movement counts (TMCs) to support data-driven planning and operations decisions.
