Meetings

The Opioid Abatement Council is required by law to "meet at the call of the chair and not less than four (4) times per year. The meeting location shall rotate among locations in each of the three (3) grand divisions." T.C.A. § 33-11-103 (i)

OAC Emergency Meeting

5:00 PM CT / 6:00 PM ET

Meeting location: Virtual

The Opioid Abatement Council shall reserve a period for public comment to provide the public with the opportunity to comment on matters that are relevant to the items on the agenda for the meeting. At the appropriate time, the Chair will open the meeting for public comment. Guests attending virtually shall make their intent to speak known and the Chair will recognize the individual.

Moving forward, all OPIOID ABATEMENT COUNCIL meetings will be held in a Webex Webinar format.

Members of the public will join as Attendees and will not have microphone or camera access. 

During the public comment period, individuals will be provided instructions on how to raise their hand, and the host will unmute them to speak.
