The Tennessee Opioid Abatement Council approved 42 Community Grants for Cycle 2 funding on June 24, 2025. After an impressive and thorough deliberation at the quarterly meeting, Council members voted to award right at $23,988,969 with $2,518,865 in capital funding for year 1 and a total award amount of $63,726,463. A special thank you to all of those who submitted an application for your dedication to serving those impacted by the opioid crisis.

2024 Community Grants FAQ
On March 18, 2024, the Tennessee Opioid Abatement Council approved 116 Community Grant Cycle 1 Awards. Council members voted to award right at $80,936,057 with $5,715,633 in capital funding for year 1 and a total award amount of $230,000,000. As of July 1, 2025, 113 Community Grants Cycle 1 contracts were executed.
