Tennessee Forestry Commission to Meet

NASHVILLE – The Tennessee Forestry Commission will meet June 6 at 9 a.m. CDT in the front conference room of the Bruer Building located at 406 Hogan Road in Nashville, Tenn.

The agenda includes approval of minutes from the prior meeting, a seedling production update, nomination of the Commission’s leadership officers for the next term, and an update on the search process for the State Forester – Assistant Commissioner position and review of potential candidates.

The meeting is open to the public.

The Tennessee Forestry Commission comprises seven members representing the public’s interests as they relate to forest resources in the state. The commission advises the Tennessee Department of Agriculture on forestry issues.
