The Licensing and Inspections interactive data page was developed by the Tennessee Department of Agriculture to share information about the functions performed by the Consumer and Industry Services Division. It includes regulatory inspections performed and licenses issued as required by law and rule. The data does not include out-of-state information. The term “Participation” on the dashboard represents applicable licenses, permits, certifications, charters, and registrations.

Participation data is reflected as the number of active participations as of the "Last Refresh Date" indicated on the dashboard. Inspection data is reflected as the number of inspections from the start of the state fiscal year of the "Last Refresh Date" indicated on the dashboard to the "Last Refresh Date" indicated on the dashboard. The state fiscal year starts July 1st and ends June 30th of the following year.
