One Health Day at the Zoo

Come spend a fun-filled day at the Nashville Zoo exploring how humans, animals, and the environment are all connected! Meet incredible animals and discover how our health and theirs are closely linked.
In today’s world, understanding how we affect our surroundings, and how that impacts our well-being is more important than ever. The One Health Initiative brings together experts and the public to promote the health, growth, and interconnectedness of people, animals, and the environment.
This year, the Animal Health Division, along with the Nashville Zoo and our academic, state, and federal partners, invites you to learn what One Health truly means for Tennesseans. Visitors can explore interactive exhibits and discussions on emerging diseases and global health, livestock health and management, Tennessee’s water and soil health, local wildlife and safe interaction tips, and much more that affects you, your family, and your community!
In our commitment to sustainability, we’re reducing paper waste by offering digital resources and links for all the topics we discuss (see below for links).
Join us at the Nashville Zoo on November 3 to celebrate One Health Day! Paid admission to the Nashville Zoo required to attend event.
