Blue Oval City Transit Study
With the historic announcement of the BlueOval City project in September of 2021, Tennessee leaders learned that more than 5,800 jobs will be coming to the West Tennessee Megasite in 2025 to produce the electric Ford Lightning truck and EV batteries.
The Tennessee Department of Transportation (TDOT) conducted a study to assess the feasibility of various transit options from the following counties to and from the Haywood County facility: Shelby, Fayette, Hardeman, Chester, Madison, Haywood, Tipton, Lauderdale, Dyer, Crockett, Gibson, and Madison.
The Final Report documents, meeting presentations, recordings, and other resources are available below.
