Resources for Child Care Providers

Attention Child Care Partners Participating in the Child Care Certificate Program:

Recently the Department of Human Services initiated changes to our Tennessee Child Care Management System (TCCMS) that handles eligibility and payment processing for child care assistance programs. The system is undergoing an upgrade to address outdated software. This upgrade has unfortunately created unforeseen delays processing parent applications, providing child care authorizations, and distributing funds to child care providers.

We understand this is a critical service to both parents and child care providers and resolving these issues is a daily priority for us. Child Care and Information Technology staff are working tirelessly to resolve all issues. Staff members are taking the additional step to manually process certificate applications and provider payments while the computer system is under repair to continue to provide our customers continuity of service.

We will provide parents and child care provider’s necessary updates as we progress, and we appreciate your patience as we work toward a resolution. Should you have any questions or concerns, please contact DHS Customer Service at 615.313.4700 or
