Aging MattersAging Matters is a community-based conversation about what older citizens in Middle Tennessee need to optimize their quality of life and how the community needs to prepare for our aging population. The series focuses on issues such as caregiving, finances, end-of-life, dementia and Alzheimer’s through documentaries, town halls, panel discussions, short form updates, community conversations, and screenings.

The Tennessee District Attorneys General Conference (TDAGC) Elder Abuse Initiative: The TDAGC was created by the General Assembly to provide for a more prompt and efficient administration of justice in the courts of this state. The Conference is composed of both the District Attorneys General from the state’s 32 judicial districts and this office – the office of the Executive Director. Their primary job is to equip, support and advocate for the District Attorneys General as they work to administer justice and serve their communities.

National Adult Protective Services Training Center: The National APS Training Center (NATC) serves as a source of quality education for adult protective services (APS) professionals throughout the United States.

National Adult Protective Services Association (NAPSA): NAPSA is a national non-profit 501 (c)(3) organization with members in all fifty states, DC and the territories. Formed in 1989, the goal of NAPSA is to provide Adult Protective Services (APS) programs a forum for sharing information, solving problems, and improving the quality of services for victims of elder and vulnerable adult mistreatment.

National Center on Elder AbuseThe National Center on Elder Abuse (NCEA) is a national resource center dedicated to the prevention of elder maltreatment. They strive to improve the national response to elder abuse, neglect, and exploitation by gathering, housing, disseminating, and stimulating innovative, validated methods of practice, education, research, and policy.

The Elder Abuse Guide for Law EnforcementThe Elder Abuse Guide for Law Enforcement (EAGLE) is a national resource designed to support officers and investigators in identifying, intervening, and responding to cases of elder abuse, neglect, and exploitation.
