Below are items related to the various and available trainings for healthcare providers.
NOTICE:
- Webinars are being conducted in December in collaboration with the Tennessee Department of Health's Infection Prevention Program. Please look on the Webinar tab for further information.
- Nursing Home administrators who attended CMS regulation in-person trainings in October, will be able to receive NAB credit. Please look on the Provider Training tab for further information.
We conducted in-person presentations in October across the state for new CMS regulations. We will be able to provide the nursing home administrators that attended wiht NAB credit. While we are waiting on the final processing for their NAB credit on our end, LaQuisha Hale (Chan) will be the contact person for nursing home administrators that attended.
Nursing home administrators seeking NAB credit will need to send an email to LaQuisha Hale at laquisha.hale@tn.gov and provide her with their name, facility, date, and venue site they attended for their NAB credits.
She will verify the attendance of the nursing home administrators and provide them with a signed copy of the "Certificate of Attendance."
When the process is completed on our end, we will provide the verified nursing home administrators that attended, 6.5 NAB credit hours for their in-person attendance.

Health Facilities Commission Webinar for Hospitals and Ambulatory Surgery Centers Webinar
Health Facilities Commission Webinar for Nursing Homes, ACLF and Home Health & Hospice
There has been recent increases in Norovirus, Influenza A, and RSV transmission across the State. Due to the concerns with this increase in these transmissions, Health Facilities Commission will be conducting a collaborative virtual training with the TDOH Infection Prevention Specialists and Epidemiologists regarding Infection Control and Infection Prevention education. We will also be discussing Infection Control/Prevention deficiencies and the ranking for specific entities.
This training will be conducted for Nursing Homes, ACLF’s, Home Health and Hospice agencies on Friday, December 16th at 10 am CST. Facilities will need to register prior to attending. Due to the limit in number of participants for this webinar, we are encouraging each facility to group together for connecting to enable more participants to attend.
