Special Education Legal Services

The department's office of legal services in the Division of Special Education is responsible for providing information and guidance to school districts and parents regarding the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA).

  • The State Board of Education Rules are available here.  Chapter 0520-01-09 of the State Board of Education Rules addresses special education programs and services.
