Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973 (Section 504) prohibits disability-based discrimination and harassment in all programs and activities that receive federal financial assistance.
The United States Department of Education Office for Civil Rights has the sole authority to investigate all claims arising under Section 504.
