Amendments to the UST Act

Underground Storage Tank Compliance Act of 2005

On August 8, 2005, President Bush signed the Energy Policy Act of 2005. Title XV, Subtitle B of this sweeping legislation is known as the Underground Storage Tank Compliance Act of 2005. This is the most significant federal Underground Storage Tank legislation since the passage of the federal UST rules September 22, 1988. The UST provisions are on pages 1563-1607 of the complete Act.
