Spill and Overfill Prevention

Spill buckets and overfill prevention must be installed on all tanks that receive more than 25 gallons in a single delivery.  You must inspect spill buckets once a month for any liquid, debris, or damage and keep a log of inspections (CN-1286).  Effective immediately, the Division must be notified at least 72 hours prior to a spill bucket replacement.  For more detailed information please refer to the Spill and Overfill Section on page 361 of the  Standardized Inspection Manual.
